What is Meant by Information Processing Cycle?

Information processing cycle is a set of step, that computer follows to receive data process the data according to instructions, display the resulting information to the user, and store it.

It Consists of Input, Processing, Output, and Storage.

Input:   

During the part of this input cycle, the computer accepts data from some source i.e.: Keyboard, Mouse.

Processing: 

During this part of the processing cycle, the computer processing devices perform an action on data according to instructions.  

Output: 

Here the computer display the result of its processing.

Storage: 

During this part of the processing cycle computer permanently stores Data.
