Samsung Project Valley | A foldable Phone

You Might Think That Samsung Edge Display is really cool, But you have to know that the cooler thing is coming soon, that is a foldable smartphone that may fold in half like a notebook. Samsung is testing this bendable smartphone model under the code name for this project is


“Project Valley or Project V”.

Samsung’s Company promised to release this smartphone in 2017, and the latest rumors suggested that it could be released in earlier months of 2017 or as early as in January.
In a report from trusted Samsung rumor blog, anonymous sources suggested that it is currently being tested in China with the code name of Project valley.

According to recent reports, the device may launch as early as January 2017. As Samsung officially said in March this year “The industry believes that the commercialization of foldable smartphones will be possible in 2017” So, Company is completing his promise to users and now it is really possible in the first month of 2017.

The company introduced its concept for foldable phones at CES in 2013 and showed its first prototype foldable phone in a private meeting at CES 2014.

However, a report from rumors suggests that the foldable phone may not have a wide international launch at first. So it’ll be available in the UK, France, Germany, Poland, South Korea, Italy, and Nordic Countries and maybe the U.S as well but the U.S is still certainly not official. Samsung has been experimenting with its different devices for different locations.

Rumors say that “Project Valley” might go on sale in the following markets.

South Korea - KOR
United Kingdom (UK) - BTU
Germany- DBT
France – XEF
Nordic Countries – NEF
Italy – ITV
Ireland – XEU
Poland – XEO
However, the U.S is not yet officially announced by company therefor not listed. What is the Specification?

It is also reported by rumors that the company is testing two hardware configurations which are snapdragon 620 and snapdragon 820 processors. The device will have 3 GB of RAM, a Micro SD card slot, and a non-removable battery. This is also reported that Samsung may use a snapdragon 820 processor in it and also upcoming next-generation devices Like Samsung Galaxy S7, which is expected in February 2017. The newest Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor has the feature of Quick Charge 3.0.
